How did you attract/address you audience?

To attract my audience I used the names of well known mainstream artists such as Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa. I did this because people always want to hear about these two artists because they are well known and very mainstream. I also decided to play the ‘sexy card’ and out in names such ‘Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Alexis Jordan’. I used these 3 women because they are seen as very sexy women, idolised by males worldwide and men would love to see their pictures and hear about them.  I also added some features to the contents page to attract more people. These gifts were a weekly free album download and a chance to be in a draw to win an IPAD 2. Also with the font sizes on the front cover, the main story had much bigger writing then anything other than the title because obviously the title is the first thing that I want the audience to notice when they pick up my magazine.
